From Spiral to Stasis? United Kingdom Counter-Terrorism Legislation and Extreme Right-Wing Terrorism

This article critically evaluates the impact of existing terrorism offenses in countering extreme right-wing (ERWT) United Kingdom (U.K.) order to examine why this developing threat security has yet elicit any legislative counter measures. Informed by evidence from a comprehensive dataset ERWT convictions between 2007 and 2022 it finds that terrorist have been sufficiently adaptive as had significant ERWT, negating need for reform. Concerns, however, are identified application measures suggestions made how they should be addressed enhance their impact.
